We liked this book, but didn't realize their wasn't concrete proof of her creating the first flag. It was still very educational.

Excellent Read for Young History Buffs (and parents too!).

As reviewed by the 10 year old LACHNES MONSTER: "I learned so much about Betsey Ross, making the first American Flag, what was happening in that time period. I learned that Betsey Ross had quite a few children, that she met George Washington, and that she was a widow many times". The 10 year old LACHNES MONSTER bought this book with his birthday money, and could not wait for it to arrive, when it finally arrived, it did not disappoint! Excellent read, perfect for the 10 year old age range, and perfect for young history buffs. Great illustrations and time lines, for interactive learning.
