I bought this instead of the textbook

So most of my courses in school have required us to purchase books that we don't use. Argh! I would not be fooled again so I purchased this pocket guide and found the PDF older version of this book and it was perfect. I rarely used this book (see a theme here) but when I did there was a wealth of information coupled with the free older pdf version of the book. I recommend this pocket guide over the textbook and I will be carrying this in my white coat for my FM rotations.
P.S. Delivery was fast and what I wanted (new condition).

A nice surprise

I was very skeptical at first because of the size of the pocket guide; however, I am glad that I ordered it anyway. Over 400 pages seem ridiculous but Bate's has really done it. The pages are easy to read, the print is big enough, it helps having the main points right out of the regular size book, and it fits in your pocket. I highly recommend this to anyone having to do history taking and physical exams (MD, APN, RN, LPN, EMT, etc).

I'm a FNP student and used this A LOT during clinicals. Fits in my lab coat pocket. Great tool to use to go over focused physical exams before you see a patient. Exams are broken down into different systems.
